十六歲是個花季年齡，有些青澀的愛情故事會在這個年齡發(fā)生，也有些對理想的認(rèn)識會在這個年齡定格，我很慶幸在我兒子十六歲之前做了送他去美國一年的決定，如今三年過去了，他已經(jīng)又去了美國讀大學(xué)，看著這個優(yōu)秀青年身上種種的好，十六歲那年的美國生活真的像一座分水嶺，去了一年美國，在他身上就會發(fā)生一些很奇妙的變化。在這里把這段經(jīng)歷寫出來給更多望子成龍的父母。</h3><h3><br /></h3> <p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block"> 關(guān)于學(xué)習(xí)</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block"> 從小學(xué)開始，我兒子就是一個興趣愛好廣泛，唯獨對學(xué)習(xí)沒多大興趣的孩子，那時候很少看到他寫作業(yè)，我心里總以為也許在國外學(xué)習(xí)比較輕松，沒有什么家庭作業(yè);在課堂上也是要么跟同學(xué)說話，要么跟老師搶著說，那時成了讓老師頭疼的問題學(xué)生，每次開家長會都會被老師點名；學(xué)習(xí)成績也只是在中上晃悠。十六歲在美國上了一年中學(xué)，感覺對學(xué)習(xí)開了竅，他跟我說美國的教科書特別好，一看就能明白。不象在這邊：老師在上邊講，學(xué)生在下邊稀里糊涂。從美國回來后成績突飛猛進(jìn)，上課再有和老師意見不同的時候也都能說服老師，因為他已經(jīng)習(xí)慣于利用英特網(wǎng)作為學(xué)習(xí)資源，這三年再去開家長會已經(jīng)成為老師口中的學(xué)習(xí)標(biāo)兵，不僅在學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)優(yōu)異，還代表學(xué)校參加奧林匹克英語競賽拿回大獎；在家里也會經(jīng)常看到他做題，寫文章或者在網(wǎng)站上聽課，我感覺他已經(jīng)很會學(xué)習(xí)了。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <h3> 關(guān)于形象</h3><h3><br /></h3><h3> 我兒子十三、四歲的時候迷上跳街舞，那時的他穿著快齊膝的大T恤，寬寬長長的牛仔褲在板鞋下踩破了邊，我母親他的姥姥說每次見到他心臟受不了；我同學(xué)的兒子在國內(nèi)見到他的照片說＂我怎么感覺這哥哥象不良少年?"曾經(jīng)一度還留長發(fā)，要把頭發(fā)編成一頭小辮子，他老爸直接從地上蹦起老高，但還是沒能阻止他的小辮子計劃，同學(xué)的姐姐幫他辮了一頭小辮回來了，只過了兩天洗過頭發(fā)之后就不了了之了，是太麻煩，也真是不好看，現(xiàn)在想想還挺后悔沒留個影；還曾經(jīng)動過給下巴上釘個釘?shù)南敕?，我只是心平氣和地跟他說：你將來是要做穿西裝打領(lǐng)帶的工作，下巴上釘個釘是不是跟西裝領(lǐng)帶不配?他居然有話：我穿西裝打領(lǐng)帶工作的時候就取下來，平時再帶。我說：取下來一兩天不帶那個洞就會長住。在美國上完一年，學(xué)校給做了一本紀(jì)念冊，每個學(xué)生都評一個獎，他被評為＂最佳著裝＂，這個獎項讓他對自己的形象有了積極正面的認(rèn)識，如今，他每天自己洗熨衣服，自己買穿的，基本都是比較傳統(tǒng)正規(guī)的服裝，用我老爸的話講＂現(xiàn)在每天穿的方方正正，多好!＂</h3><h3><br /></h3> <h3> 關(guān)于社會活動</h3><h3><br /></h3><h3> 青春期還有個名字叫＂叛逆期＂，有些不良嗜好也會在這一時期形成。有一次因為上課玩手機(jī)被老師沒收，要家長去談話要回手機(jī)，我在課間去學(xué)校找老師，在走到門口時就看到兒子和一幫同學(xué)在學(xué)門外聊天，手里是燃著的香煙，當(dāng)時我什么都沒說，只是眼淚不停地流下來，從學(xué)校出來后也沒搭理他，中午他跟著我來到辦公室，看我流淚，他開口了：每個年輕人都想嘗試自己沒嘗試過的新東西，媽媽你不要擔(dān)心，我只是跟著別人嘗試一下。我：好!你只是為了嘗試，那現(xiàn)在嘗試過了，無論是好還是不好，都要stop，以后不準(zhǔn)再抽煙！他答應(yīng)了，并且后來參加了學(xué)校組織的＂吸煙有害健康＂的宣傳，走向社會，做這方面的公益活動，這項社會活動也成為他申請美國大學(xué)時寫進(jìn)申請材料的社會活動之一，除此之外，組建樂隊參加各種演出，并在今年六月份參加了大型演講機(jī)構(gòu)TEDx在本市組織的演講，就「種族與文化差異」發(fā)表了演講并獲得好評；還有，在剛滿十八歲的時候就去獻(xiàn)血，將自己18歲的青春血液獻(xiàn)出450ml用于救死扶傷。</h3><h3><br /></h3> <h3> 關(guān)于生活細(xì)節(jié)</h3><h3><br /></h3><h3> 那年在美國生活在一個只有300人的小村莊里，寄宿家庭是一對二婚的年輕夫婦，只有25歲的女主人帶著9歲的兒子和5歲的女兒跟男主人生活在一起，兒子和女兒的父親也是不同的兩個人，因為年輕，又來自不同的生活環(huán)境，小兩口經(jīng)常吵架，女主人離家出走也是家常便飯，32歲的男主人每天酗酒，跟兒子哭訴老婆的種種不是，我16歲的兒子要給男主人做心理開導(dǎo)；要時常照顧他家的兩個孩子；要自己做飯并且給他們做飯；要打掃衛(wèi)生，洗碗，洗衣服（用洗碗機(jī)和洗衣機(jī)）；這種鍛煉成為將來自己面對生活的一種財富，回來后在家也很樂意做家務(wù)：冬天鏟雪，夏天割草，家里吸地刷洗衛(wèi)生間，洗衣做飯都是一把好手。我家的洗碗機(jī)很小，每次往里邊放東西都要精心排列才能放得下要洗的東西，所以有次他去同學(xué)家吃完飯洗碗，洗碗機(jī)里擺放的很有條理，同學(xué)的媽媽好一頓夸獎。</h3><h3><br /></h3> <h3> 關(guān)于理想</h3><h3><br /></h3><h3> 我只是在他十五歲的時候同意了他想去美國作一年交換生的請求，其實在美國只是生活在一個小村子里，學(xué)校也是從幼兒園到高中只有80來人，但美國的教學(xué)體制和教育環(huán)境，讓他樹立了想在那里接受高等教育的理想。在學(xué)校期間有各大學(xué)的招生推介會，他也由此了解了華盛頓大學(xué)，并把這所學(xué)校當(dāng)成了自己的奮斗目標(biāo)，經(jīng)過了了兩年多的繼續(xù)努力，如愿以償走進(jìn)了這所知名學(xué)府，相信通過不懈的努力，可以向更遠(yuǎn)更高的目標(biāo)靠近，成為對自己負(fù)責(zé)對社會有用的人才。</h3>
